The Super Stock class race team The Firm has announced a new partnership with Miami-based Mikalyzed as the title sponsor for their Fazza Marine hull. This collaboration marks a significant step forward in supporting the offshore racing community, as Mikalyzed aims to invest in the passion and dedication that drives these athletes.

The Firm Racing Team is led by World Champion driver Pete Riveiro, alongside esteemed throttleman and two-time National and World Champion Ricky Maldonado. They will race their 2024 32' Fazza Marine Catamaran, which is built from lightweight carbon fiber and infused epoxy. The Fazza 32 is renowned for its strength and performance, based on the legendary Victory Team catamaran platform. The cutting-edge vessel is set to make a significant impact in the Super Stock fleet this season.

Led by entrepreneur Michael Quevedo, Mikalyzed is a company that embodies the spirit of innovation and support for entrepreneurs. Riveiro's relationship with Mikalyzed began over 20 years ago, when Michael and his family bought several properties in the Keys from Riveiro and his The Firm Realty Group. After selling their large healthcare business. Michael started Mikalyzed. The new company is involved in Smart Home Automation technology and runs an auto boutique in Miami. "They're  doing extremely well down here," Riveiro told Speedboat. "They're branching off into everything. It's more of a lifestyle than a company."

Quevedo is committed to investing in those who take risks to change the world, and has offered Riveiro a sponsorship to support the team and further brand the company, which is dedicated to empowering individuals through education, mindset, and creativity. Rooted in the core values of LIFFE—Love, Integrity, Faith, Family, and Excellence—they are a community of dreamers and doers, united by the belief that greatness begins with a vision and is built through action. Their slogan, “Planting Seeds of Greatness,” reflects their mission to nurture potential, spark ambition, and cultivate a lasting legacy of positive change in every life it touches.

As part of this partnership, Mikalyzed will also update its apparel line to include team merchandise, which will be available at race sites. "Teaming up with The Firm Racing Team is more than just a sponsorship—it’s a shared journey of passion, purpose, and pushing limits. At Mikalyzed, we’re proud to ride alongside you as we plant seeds of greatness, one race at a time,” Quevedo said.

Michael's wife of 20 years, Karla Quevedo, works closely with him on their venture. She says that after selling their previous company, "We didn't want to just sit around and do nothing. We wanted to give people an opportunity to achieve what we were able to achieve as a family. And that's the goal behind Mikalyzed. We make investments in individuals."

Karla shared the genesis of the name Mikalyzed: "It's funny story. Michael works on a lot of vehicles, including side-by-side Can Ams. He likes to soup them up and make them faster. After purchasing one, he told the seller he would probably just leave it stock. 'No!' the guy said, 'You have to Michael-ize it!' Because everything Michael does is a little over the top. So the name just kind of stuck, and we made the spelling a bit more creative."
