Lake Havasu City, AZ — American Marine Performance (AMP), a rising manufacturer of high-performance powerboats, has announced the opening of its newest factory store, AMP of the West, in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. This marks a significant expansion for the Florida-based company as it extends its reach into one of the country’s premier boating destinations.

The new facility will be spearheaded by industry veterans Brian Taylor and Billy Blake, both recognized for their years of expertise and longstanding experience in the performance boating community. AMP of the West will serve as a full-service dealership offering sales, customization, and maintenance—providing customers with a true factory-direct experience on the West Coast.

Designed to mirror AMP’s flagship location in Pompano Beach, Florida, the Lake Havasu store will include a modern showroom and design center where clients can view the latest models and create personalized builds with AMP’s signature precision.

Customers will have access to AMP’s full lineup, including the popular AMP 333, the new AMP 433, and the company's all-new catamaran series—each engineered for offshore performance and featuring a new design and advanced technology.

AMP of the West will make its official debut at next week's 2025 Desert Storm Poker Run and Shootout, where the company will showcase its boats at the Havasu Riviera Marina. Attendees will have the opportunity to view and demo two AMP 333s—one powered by triple Mercury Racing 400Rs and the other featuring twin Mercury Racing 400Rs—offering a firsthand look at the brand’s craftsmanship and on-water performance.

“Lake Havasu is the perfect location to grow the AMP brand,” said Walt Braithwaite, Vice President of American Marine Performance. “With Brian and Billy leading AMP of the West, and our presence at Desert Storm, we’re making it clear that AMP is here to stay and ready to serve the West Coast boating community.”
