In the final day of the Race World Offshore world finals in Key West, six bracket classes faced off to decide who would take the World Championship awards. All wins reported here are unofficial, pending post-race inspections.

For the third time this week, two Team Woody competitors took the checkered flag, virtually guaranteeing their world championships. In Class 3, Billy Shipley and Chad Woody won against Clyde Petty in Rollin’ Dirty (which broke down during the race), and in Class 5, Micheal Stancombe and JJ Turk were victorious against driver George Ivey and throttleman Craig Belfatto of Bulletproof, which was also seen under tow. Papamigos, another Class 5 competitor, broke down early in the race. In Bracket Class 1, #147 Cigarette Justice League once again ran unopposed; Bracket Class 2 competitors will run later this afternoon.

In Bracket Class 4, the 40′ Velocity GNS Motorsports—which had won on Wednesday and Friday—only needed to finish in second place today to lead to a World Championship for the team, which is exactly what they did. Driver Jim Simmons and throttleman Jason Zolecki of Simmons Marine, which had broken down on Wednesday, finished first, but announcers seemed to agree that GNS driver Grant Greytok would go home with the big prize due to distance traveled, as both boats would wind up with equal points. BoatRacingExperience.com (which did not race on Wednesday) took third place.

In Bracket Class 6, #688 Southern Arbor Services, a 32 Baja, took its third consecutive victory of the week against driver Mark Conrod and throttleman Chase Gerard of Gerard Marine, which finished second.

Finally, in Bracket Class 7, driver Rey Maldonado and throttleman Julian Maldonado of Jackhammer took another repeat win against #90 Gallagher Marine in their 6-lap race.
