Professional Racing Offshore (PRO) has announced the return of offshore powerboat racing to Lake Havasu City.
For the first time in 20 years, teams will compete for American Power Boat Association (APBA) points, making this a historic and highly anticipated event. Spectators will be able to experience the thrill of high-speed racing up close, with VIP cabanas available along the pits and race course for an exclusive front-row experience.
“After months of meticulous planning, site visits, and dedication, we are incredibly proud to announce our new race location in Lake Havasu," said PRO co-owner and Director of Operations Justin Martin. "Every detail has been carefully considered to ensure this event exceeds expectations. We didn’t want to release anything less than the best, and we're confident that this stunning venue will deliver an unforgettable experience for both racers and fans. The hard work and vision behind this race will truly shine through, and we can’t wait to showcase it."
This event will feature much more than just the racing. In addition to the heart-pounding competition on the water, PRO will host a series of exciting events, including:
• Fun Run – Take to the water for a fun-filled ride.
• Street Party – Mingle with teams, fans, and fellow boating enthusiasts.
• Dock Party – Celebrate at Havasu Landing Resort & Casino with live entertainment and excitement.

Race pits will be located in the State Park at Windsor 3 and Windsor 4.

Following the May 2-4 race in Lake Havasu, PRO will mount the XINSURANCE Shootout Offshore Race June 18-21. The event will include a Stereo Sound Off and Pre-Party at Shady Gators on Thursday; followed by testing at Bagnell Dam, Fun Run and concert at Shady Gators on Friday; racing, Street Party and Bagnell Dam Strip concert on Saturday; and more racing and an Awards Ceremony on Sunday.
