Several weeks after staging a successful fun run at the Lake of the Ozarks, mega-dealer Performance Boat Center is preparing to launch an all-new outboard-only fun run event on Friday, June 26.

“Nobody’s ever done it before,” PBC co-owner Brett Manire told Speedboat. “We wanted to promote this hot trend of outboard powerboats and allow anybody with a Mercury outboard to attend the run—tri-toons, center consoles, outboard cats, sport vees…anything with outboards on it, we want to welcome them to a fun day of boating on the Lake of the Ozarks.”

Manire said representatives from Mercury Racing, MTI, Sunsation and Cigarette would be attending the event. “Everybody’s welcome, as long as the boat has a Mercury outboard on it,” Manire said, adding that information on how to register will be coming next week.
