A dozen Super Stock boats were the sole competitors of Race #3 on this first day of the Race World Offshore World Championships in Key West. Myrick Coil and Rusty Williams finished first in Performance Boat Center / FASS Fuel Systems, leading the race from beginning to end.

Finishing second was Jackhammer, with Ricky Maldonado and Reese Langheim. The Jackhammer team managed to stave off LPC and FJ Propeller, which consistently jockeyed between third and fourth place. Team Allen Lawn Care finished in fifth, with Curry Refrigeration finishing in sixth place.

CMR Construction and Roofing, with Shaun Torrente and Eric Belisle, did not negotiate the hairpin turn 3 in Lap 2 and flipped, landing upside down. They emerged unscathed and the boat was towed in. Also participating in the race were Coco’s Monkey, Phase 5, Play Tradez and Your Storage Units.
