The OPA/P1 Cocoa Beach offshore race came to a conclusion Sunday with racing in the Bracket 4 class, as well as Stock Vee.
Despite spinning out early in the race after what appeared to be a collision with a competitor, LSB Hurricane of Awesomeness—a brand-new hull campaigned by owner-driver-builder Brit Lilly and throttleman Kevin Smith, finished first in Stock Vee class. They were followed by Fast Boys Racing / Tiki Lee’s, NMB RV Resort, and R’N S Racing.
Meanwhile, Predator/Stahlman Motorsports, with driver Dean Stahlman and throttleman Nate Hunt, won in Bracket 4 class, followed by Old School. GNS Motorsports broke down during the competition.
