Producers of the 2021 Lake Havasu Boat Show have announced that the April 9-11 event originally scheduled to be held at Lake Havasu State Park’s Windsor 4 location has been changed.
Earlier this week, the Lake Havasu Marine Association was notified that Arizona State Park denied approval of a permit request due to continuing pandemic public safety concerns. Although disappointed with the decision, the Havasu Boat Show is making every effort to still hold the Boat Show at an alternate location: the Havasu 95 Speedway at Sara Park at the south end of town. A request for permit approval and a Covid-19 mitigation plan have been submitted to the city for its review; it is expected that a decision will be forthcoming very shortly.
Organizers say they are optimistic that this request will be approved, as several special events have already operated successfully from the Sara Park Sports Complex earlier this year, and the Speedway program continues to run regular races there several times a month. More information regarding the change of venue will be emailed to exhibitors soon; a new floor plan is being created as quickly as possible.
Any exhibitors who are still exhibiting at the show are advised that the show is currently sold out, although space application requests are still being accepted. Prospective exhibitors will be added to a wait list, which will be filled in the order that requests are received. The sooner you submit a space application, the better your chances of getting a spot in the show. No deposit or payment is required at this time; only an application submission is needed.
