In addition to scheduling an Owner's Fun Run to the Bahamas in May, Mystic Powerboats also traditionally gathers with its customers in December for a series of runs out of The Westin Cape Coral Resort at Marina Village in December. The Deland, FL-based builder of fast luxury catamarans and center consoles hosted 24 boats and around 107 people for its latest event.

"We actually did three runs," says Mystic owner John Cosker. "One of our owners led a group to Cabbage Key, a small island located off of Pine Island, on Friday. Then on Saturday, we went up to Riviera Bar and Grill. Finally, on Sunday, we ran up to Miller's up north. So every day we did a run with the owners."

The festivities included a welcome/reception dinner on Friday night with all of the owners, and on Saturday night there's a traditional dinner and drinks to honor vendors and sponsors like Doug Harrell Design and Gator Step.

"We had all the same people who attended the previous year, minus two boats," Cosker says. "One was one gentleman who had actually sold his 42, but he was at the event. Then we added another four or five boats."

One of the new boats was actually delivered during the fun run. Longtime customer Carl Prescott received his brand-new 42 powered by quad Mercury Racing 500Rs. It's the first Mystic 42 center console featuring their revamped interior with new shaping and seating options.

"On the front of the console, we now offer two or three seats," Cosker says. "We'd still had the original interior from when we introduced the boat in 2015, so we've just revived the whole interior of the boat. We've gotten extremely good reception to it so far, and we've got another three or four heading to the water pretty soon with the new interiors."
