The talented team at DCB Performance Marine continues to populate the waterways across North America with their extremely popular, extremely proficient M37R true tunnel, outboard catamaran–this time it's heading for its new home in Kentucky.
This blue and gray stunner, dubbed Movin' Silence, came equipped with twin Mercury Racing 500R supercharged outboard engines with custom DCB carbon fiber cowlings that provide impressive speed and acceleration, and of course, the signature fit and finish that the Phoenix-based company has become synonymous with.
The immaculate Phase III 100% all-gelcoat design features clean lines and a timeless scheme, with a moderately-sized "DCB" near the aft of both sides of the hull, in case admirers want to know who the builder is or if the owners want to show pride in their choice of catamaran. The matching painted rubrail has been flawlessly executed that nearly makes it disappear.
The M37R is designed to offer a luxurious experience every time you climb into one. Stepping into the cockpit, which DCB has incorporated actual steps into the cockpit from the rear of the boat, there is ample seating for eight adults and/or children. The interior is all meticulously crafted with 50% of the rich suede-like fabiric Alcantara, best known for its use in exotic musclecars such as Lamborghini and Bugatti, and the other 50% with the impressive CoolTouch material, which does exactly what it says and stays cool, even in the warmest of days.
The carbon fiber dash features a large, integrated 22" Garmin GPS monitor in the center, with two additional Mercury VV9 touch screen monitors. The custom black Isotta Fanette with blue stitching, as well Mercury DTS controls with blue shifter knobs to match the color of the boat, and finish the entire layout the clean, uniform and sexy look that all luxury high-performance enthusiasts desire. DCB delivers in spades.
But no custom boat worth its mettle would be complete without a booming stereo system and DCB has perfected optimum sound by way of JL Audio equipment that features the Fusion head unit, four JL Audio amplifiers, a staggering 14 JL Audio M6 midrange speakers with programmable LED lighting, two 10" JL Audio free air subwoofers and two 12" JL Audio M7 free air subwoofers, for those deep hitting bass tones. The interior also has programmable RGBW lighting package to set the mood for any party or raft-up.
But beneath the sheer beauty of the watercraft, lies the all-important structure of it, which DCB doesn't take lightly. Every boat receives their Vacuum Infused Resin (VIR) process, which injects resins evenly throughout both the hull and the deck by way of a vacuum system and intricately placed hoses into bagging for unparalleled strength and integrity.
There's no doubt that the new owners will enjoy their DCB M37R in Kentucky or wherever they choose to splash Movin' Silence. Perhaps near a waterway near you!
